If those checks fail, report the exact Error 51 text, build and system context to the developer. Do not reuse the 0x11C7 Smart App Control diagnosis unless Windows actually shows 0x11C7.

Protect the save first

If a crash or power loss preceded the problem, follow the save-protection guide before repeated launches. Official patch 1.0.6 changed crash-time saving and save validation, so update and confirm the build. Do not delete configuration and save folders together. A clean program launch is not useful if the diagnostic step destroys the only copy of progress.

Run the reversible baseline

Restart Steam and the computer, install current operating-system and stable graphics-driver updates, remove unsupported launch options and disable third-party overlays one at a time. Verify the game's installed files through Steam. Disconnect nonessential controllers or capture tools only for a test. Launch single-player at conservative display settings. Compare modes and triggers

Know when to stop

Stop after reversible baseline checks if every launch fails or the save state changes unexpectedly. Do not use registry cleaners, pirated replacement files, random DLL downloads or compatibility executables from forum attachments.
